Making Money Online with EBay – Where to Get Products to Sell?

So you want to make money online with eBay, but aren’t really sure where to get the products you need. Here’s a few useful tips that will get you started selling.

Selecting the Product
One of the most overlooked decisions when it comes to selling on eBay is selecting a product that’s in high demand. One of the easiest ways to determine if what is the current hot items you can check out eBay’s Hot Categories report. It gives a list of the latest hot topics and categories.

Dropshippers
Once you’ve selected a product the best way to have a permanent supply of products is to sign up with a dropshipper. WorldWideBrands is a good one. The great thing about dropshipping is you don’t have to pay for an item until it’s sold. Once it sells you send the buyers information to your drop shipper and they take care of everything else.

Garage Sales, Flea Markets, and Discount Stores
One of the best places to find items for sale is at garage sales and flea markets. Most of the time people are just trying to get rid of old things they don’t need or don’t have space for anymore. I’ve seen some great antiques as well as old collectibles being sold at yard sales for next to nothing. Another great thing is you can often haggle the price down on these items to increase your profit even more.

Selling Claims Items
Claims items or returned items are often still in mint condition when they are returned. Most of the time there is nothing wrong with the items; the user just didn’t like it or found something better. Sadly most of these items aren’t returned to the manufacturer and are just thrown away. Many companies will allow you to buy these returned items for next to nothing. Talk to a supervisor at one of your local stores to find out more information.
